The connection between the bonnet and the body may be threaded, flanged, welded, pressure sealed, or the bolted bonnet. The forging body flange and bonnet flange are joined by studs and nuts with a gasket of suitable design/material inserted to facilitate sealing. The bolted bonnet globe valve allows the medium flow only one-way and it relies on valve rod pressure to make the sealing surface of the valve disc and valve seat tightly fit to prevent medium flow. It’s characterized saving elbow and convenient to operate and can be installed in the bend of the pipeline system.
