PEEK Ball Valve Seats
PEEK (Polyetheretherketone) seats are mainly used in floating trunnion mounted ball valves. The sallow molded PEEK valve seats are characterized a superior balance of chemical and hydrolysis resistance under higher temperatures, providing high temperature and high pressure resistance, fatigued esistance, hydrolysis and flame retardation.
Features:
- Outstanding high temperature resistance: PEEK has a high melting point (334℃) and glass transition temperature (143℃), continuous use temperature of 260℃, its 30%GF or CF enhanced PEEK load thermal variation temperature can be up to 316℃.
- Excellent self-lubricity (corrosion resistance): PEEK resin is suitable for situations where the low friction coefficient and wear resistance are strictly required. It has a similar corrosion resistance to nickel alloy and is more resistant to acid and base than polyimide at high temperatures.
- Good processability: PEEK has good fluidity and high thermal decomposition temperature under high temperature and can be processed by injection molding, molding, extrusion molding, blowing molding, melting spinning and other processing methods.
